Bigbang (J2 AU): Shipwrecked.. Epilogue

*major heart clench*

I think your story broke me a little bit - but it was totally worth it. Perfect from beginning to end. Thanks! :)))

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! I'm glad you enjoyed it, even though it does get quite angsty for awhile there :) cheers hon.

EDIT: Hey I just posted a ficlet set in this verse at the request of a friend. You can find it here: http://cyndrarae.livejournal.com/76397.html
Just thought I'd let you know and hopefully this will make the heartache go away? :)

OMG! I started and finished it all in one sitting. *proud*

Ugh, note to self, when and AWESOME writer posts a fic, DO NOT get sucked into another fandom and wait 4 months to read it!!

<3<3 I loved each and every word of it. and I hope you'll do more drabbles. It was heartwarming and sweet. With a reassuring touch of reality. =P

:D Ah sweetheart.. you have no idea how much this comment means to me :) Shipwrecked is the hardest thing I ever wrote. And its also the one I am most proud of, so when someone tells me they enjoyed reading it, it just totally makes my day! So thank you so so much sweetie :) *clings*

More drabbles does sound like a good idea, I just don't thing i could do one any time soon. Got so many things going on right now you won't believe heh :)

This? Was definitely worth my vote! Hope you do get to win, too, cause this was fantastic, absolutely fabulous!
I've read so many J2 fics by now, where Jensen is the damaged one and it's always a nice treat to have it the other way around...uhm...does that sound slightly wrong, like I might be a sadistic maniac? *blush*

Anyhow, I loved the story, the whole setup, Jensen as the CEO and Jared as the lost puppy, who tries to save Jensen, even if it might cost him the 20 grand.
What I also loved were those little details, like Alan's parents, the way Tom behaves, Jeff and how he gives his clothes to Jared and I could go on endlessly.

So uhm, yeah, just wanted to leave a little note that you've blown me away with yet another great story. *dizzy smile*

Thank you so so much!! :) I'm really glad you read and liked this verse hon :) And also thank you so much for picking up on the little things!!! I have a thing for subtle details and I look for them myself in others' stories and it bums me out when ppl don't pick enough on them in my own haha ;P Alright.. so maybe they're like SO subtle they're imperceptible or something *giggles* :D But anyway, so happy you enjoyed this sweetie!! :) *huggles*

You totally had me bawling. This was so… just. *hearts*

Awww. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing hon :) *hugs*

Of course.. this was a most incredible story.. I laughed and cried and hurt with Jay and Jen, like we're all supposed to, *g* I'm glad they made it and hope they'll be happy forever... yeah, the style was awesome and I'd like to have more... but then, this end is just as good as it's going to get, so no... leave it!! *sniffle* hoo boys!
Cat

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!! :) I'm really glad you enjoyed reading this story. And hey if you're interested, I wrote a timestamp fic in this verse recently too :) You can find it here:

http://cyndrarae.livejournal.com/76397.html

Once again thank you so much hon, your lovely comment has totally made my day! :)

I'm just now getting to some of the big bang...but it's always nice to know there are more awesome stories for me to discover.

I really was very moved by this story. The different levels of truth and forgiveness were incorporated very well. And by the end when Jared was finally revealing the new project I definitely had some tears in my eyes.

Congrats of being part of Big Bang and tells such a moving story.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing my bigbang submission hon! There sure were a LOT of fics to get through this time weren't there? :)

So glad that you enjoyed this story, and if it managed to move you to tears really then.. wow.. I couldn't ask for a better compliment. Thank you so SO much!!! :)

PS: By the way, I wrote a timestamp fic in this verse too.. if you're interested.. it was a rush job so it's probably a little out of sync with the rest of the verse but hey.. let me know what you think? :)

cheers again hon.

okay, just so you know I just read this whole fic from first chapter to here in one evening... hell, evening, hah! It's quarter past three in the night but it was worth defying myself of sleep. I was sent here by a friend to read this piece of well authorship and DAMN! Although said friend got rather rude later on when I got so mesmerized in this story that I just forgot to answer her for thirty minutes a time (regularly). So you can be pretty sure that bit was damn catching.
I adore the title... never heard this quote before, had to go find it and completely fell in love with it. It is just soooo awesome.
I really like the way your characters have to struggle especially with the issue of trust and of course I loved the happy ending. How could I not? Though the fact that Jen doesn't believe in supernatural ghost stories really made me crack up :)
okay. now that you know how much I loved this fic, I really should go to bed.
Thanks for sharing, Birdie

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, insane songbird :) God I love your alias!! :D I'm really happy that you enjoyed this story. Thanks also to your friend for recommending me! Hope you weren't nodding off the next day in class or something ;)

I had this sudden urge to read your big bang again and yeah, it just gets better and better every time I read it :). I adore the interplay between the boys at first, like a cat and mouse. It's only one night but the attraction is undeniable and for both men, the wheels spiral out of control :).

You said you were seriously considering about Big Bang this year, and I hope you do sign up because I would love to read what you'll come up with next ;)

Thank you honey always for your brilliant writing ;)

Hey you! I'm so sorry I missed this comment of yours hon. Life's just crazy busy right now. You're just so sweet to me aren't you? :) I'm especially happy that this story has repeat value and that you liked it enough to read it all over again! :) Thanks hon... and um yeah, I did sign up :D I saw that you did too! All the very best hon, I'm sure yours will be the first one I click on to read :)

*hugs*

Ack! That scene with Jared on the court thinking of Alan and running into Jeff made me cry! Great story

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. I'm so glad you enjoyed this story. The two Padalecki brothers dynamic was my absolute favorite thing to write in this story, like a subtle shoutout to the Winchesters hehe :) cheers hon!

:D Thank you so much!!! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Absolutely brilliant! Thank you SO very much for taking the time write such a compelling, heart-wrenching, thought-compelling story! And, thank you for sharing it! I love the quotes and literary referenced sprinkled throughout, and your writing style makes for a very fluid read. I'm looking forward to checking out more of your works in this fandom!

Thank you!

Thank YOU hon for the lovely feedback! I'm really really glad you enjoyed reading this. Writing bigbang back then was so freakin' hard but y'all have been so kind with your comments that it all feels worth it now :) cheers hon.

That was just fantastic. I knew when Jensen and Jared's first night together was so drawn out, I mean sex twice?! Damn! Very hot btw... Anyway, I knew from that point that Jensen was gonna call Jared out on the cameras, that he knew. I def couldn't predict what was gonna happen after that, but I loved loved loved what did end up happening. :) The whole thing was super sweet and Jensen was so positive and 'sweep-Jared-off-his-feet' romantic. Jared's change from the beginning of this fic to the end was seamless and lovely, I adored him throughout. Wonderful fic overall, def going into my memories!!

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing hon. I'm really glad you enjoyed my last year's bigbang. It gives me the will to gather up some much needed courage and post this year's bigbang hehe. So glad you liked the characterization of Jensen and Jared.. thanks again hon! :)

omgsh I have no idea how I missed this fic. I read it over the span of a day, taking breaks and some time off to think about what you'd written. The message that you show here is pretty amazing. Usually, many J2 fics cling to the romance genre (which can be pretty hot :p), but it was refreshing to read such a unique fic with a very special message. I'm also glad that you didn't include too many graphic elements of prostitution in your story because I think it would have detracted from your theme of forgiveness and hope. But I also really enjoyed reading Jensen cherishing Jared, both emotionally and physically. Your fic is way too sweet and awesome for words, girl. I really loved it.

*squishes*

Better late than never! :) Thank you so so much for reading and reviewing hon. I'm really glad you enjoyed this story. You picked up on every single thing I was intending for this story - not focusing on the ugly elements of prostitution and instead focusing on second chances, forgiveness and hope. I did want to highlight the social issues and just have Jensen be... *sighs*.. I guess Perfect in most ways that mattered :D

Your review has totally made my day hon. Thank you so very much! :) *hugs*

That was so good. I just couldn't stop reading it. It made me cry openly, big fat tears. It was so sad, and although this tale got a happy ending, it did make me think of all the peole out there that aren't so lucky. Whether that was your intention or not I don't know, but thats how it affected me. I really enjoyed it, even though it was at times heartbreaking, and I DID want Jensen to save Jared, to make it all better. I really did love this, well done dude.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing hon. I'm not happy that it made you cry :) but I'm glad you understood and agreed with the social message in the story. Part of it was definitely intended - like the street youth program Jared starts at the end of the story - that's my dream, I wish someday I'll be able to do something about it heh. Anyway.. thanks again hon. You've made my day! :)
