I don't post any personal stuff on this journal. Want to keep this strictly fic-focused, as that's the reason why most people follow this LJ anyway. Name's Rachel, married no kids, reside in the city of London, UK. I'm a Cancerian so pretty emo - do watch what you say around me ;) Haha, kidding.
I've a boring job in IT management, you don't wanna know. Here on LJ, I write fanfic.. slash mostly. I'm pretty kinky in my writing, but I can also get very mushy/sappy. You've been suitably warned! :P
I read in a lot of fandoms, but write very few.
Current fandoms of choice: Supernatural and X-Men
Other fandoms I read but don't write in: Harry Potter (H/D), LOTR, Criminal Minds, NCIS, One Tree Hill, random movies off and on.
Some quirks about me you should know:
- I am all for wincest and now RPS as well. These are guilty pleasures I have succumbed to and I'm happy that way :) I'm okay if you're not into any of these, question is.. are you okay with me? :)
- I am an absolutely vehement Jared/Sammy girl :D No compromises there.
- I don't read or write bottom!Jensen or bottom!Dean fics. Just a personal preference, I'm totally cool if you do :)
- I am an absolutely vehement Scott girl too. No compromises there either!
- Don't mention the big W movie to me yet, I'm still hurting about Cyclops not being in it *sniffs*
- Sorry, I don't IM. RL doesn't permit enough time, and also I work on the office laptop and it's against corporate guidelines to install any unapproved softwares, including IM.
If you're following a WIP of mine that I haven't updated in awhile? Sincere blanket apologies :( I can't promise anything, but I haven't completely given up on any of them either.
Finally, just one house rule and one house rule alone... be nice! :)
I'm all about freedom of speech and expression. You can diss whoever you want, whatever you want. You can tell me my writing sucks and I'll ask you everything about why you think so. You can tell me I suck and I will consider it. But what you cannot, absolutely must not do is criticize James Marsden or any of his acting assignments on my LJ. You can be Wolverine fans that's fine. I don't wanna hear a word against Cyclops!
Also - these days there's a lot of Jensen/Dean versus Jared/Sam wank going on outside, but I don't want any of it here on my LJ please. I love both of them. Have a bit of a crush on Jensen really ;) And I ADORE Jared with all my heart so please please be nice to them and their work as well.
